Overview

When a lighter truck is needed, select the all-aluminum MAL1175. It has a twin compartment tank that is split 775 waste/400 gallons fresh and weighs significantly less than a mild or stainless steel tank, which causes less wear and tear on the chassis and lowers mileage costs.

The catwalk and cabinets are made of bright 1/8 inch aluminum, creating a highly polished, professional appearance. There is a round sight glass for the waste tank and a sight tube for the fresh. A quick opening manway is located on the waste tank and a side ladder leads to the top manway for easier inspection, repair or cleaning. For driver safety, a DOT safety equipment package is provided and includes a flag and reflector, first aid kit and fire extinguisher.

Please note that trucks require ultra low sulfur diesel fuel and Urea.

Tank Design & Material

• Rear Waste Compartment:
  Volume – 775 gallons, Shell – ¼” ASTM 5454, Heads – Two ¼ x 54” diameter, one ¼” cross baffles; two wing baffles. One 19” quick opening manway in center of waste.
• Front Fresh Compartment:
  Volume – 400 gallons, Shell – ¼”, with one ¼” x 54” head, two wing baffles.
• Mounts
  Tank rests on chassis frame on captive 2” x 3” plastic lumber strips. Front consists of spring loaded mounts with 5/8” Grade 8 bolts and lock nuts. Center mount H-style mounting bracket. Rear mounts consist of 3/8” and ¼” brackets. Brackets are bolted with 5/8” diameter Grade 8 plated bolts, to frame and to tank with 5/8” bolts.
• Dump locations:
  Waste — 3” full port dump located just behind rear wheel on driver’s side.
  Fresh — 2” dump located just behind cab on left side.
